Footsteps of WNY

Footsteps of WNY, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, provides charitable assistance to individuals with Cerebral Palsy by directly purchasing medically prescribed orthopedic and therapeutic devices not covered by insurance. These items may include orthopedic supports, braces, shoe lifts, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and purposeful exercise equipment, among others.

Children and adults suffering from cerebral palsy will require life-long care and medical attention, and the cost of cerebral palsy for an individual over a lifetime can be exorbitant. This cost is compounded by the fact that a person with Cerebral Palsy may not be physically able to provide for, or contribute to, their life financially due to this severely debilitating condition. For this reason, Footsteps of WNY focuses special attention on those individuals with Cerebral Palsy throughout the Western New York community that demonstrate a financial need.
